Do you use computers or real singers to make orders?
We use real singers in our own recording studio! And our singers re-sing all the lyrics, not just the customized fields, so the recording you get sounds great.

What age range is best for your songs?
It really depends on both the song and the kid, but 2-9 year olds are generally good targets. We’ve received orders for young children, as young as 9 months old. But it’s really perfect if the child has started to talk. Some of the song topics and styles we offer appeal more to older children. But often, kids who have reached 10 years of age or so consider themselves “too cool” for our songs, although it really depends on their individual personality. We have also been surprised to receive orders for adults. Our songs can be fun silly gifts for grown-ups too, even though we didn’t originally intend for them to be used that way.

How long will it take before I receive my order?
In the US, customers usually receive their orders within 15 days of placing them, but if we get backed up, it can take up to 3 weeks. During the busy Christmas season, we will post announcements on the home page if we can no longer expect to make deliveries prior to Christmas. We do not offer rush order and rush shipping options.

How do I order multiple CDs with multiple shipping addresses?
If you want to order CDs to be shipped to multiple addresses, you need to place multiple orders.

Can I mix songs for multiple kids on the same CD?
Absolutely. We will print a combination of names on the CD label if you order songs for multiple kids on the same CD.

What differences can I expect in the music I receive?
The singer we use for your order may be different than the sample on our web site. The lyrics may also have to be altered slightly, to adjust to the number of syllables in the fields you customize.

What will I receive in my order?
The CD itself will be labeled with the child’s name(s). We will also send the customized lyrics printed on heavy glossy paper, for each song ordered. Kids often hang the lyrics on their wall as a keepsake for their own song.

Can I copy the music?
Our music and lyrics is copyrighted. Under copyright laws, you have the right to copy the music for your own personal use, and we encourage you to do so. Copying for commercial or other usage is not allowed without our written permission.

What is the cost?
The first custom song costs $9.95, the second is $6.95, and each additional song is $5.95 per CD . Order as many songs on a CD as you want. In addition, there is production and shipping charge of $5.95 for the first CD, and $2.95 for each additional CD. This covers the cost of burning, labeling, and shipping the CD.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
We collect 7.75% sales tax for orders in Ohio. Otherwise, we do not collect sales tax.

Is providing my phone number when I place my order important?
Yes, it is critical that we have it. There’s a chance we may need to contact you to make sure we know how to pronounce names in your order properly. We won’t contact you unless we need to, nor will we share this private information with others.

Are you planning other songs?
Yes, we will continue to introduce new songs or replace songs with newer versions, so check back often for updates!

Do you offer cassette tapes?
No, we don’t offer cassette tapes, but you or a friend can copy the CD onto cassette for personal use.

Is there anything special I need to know about playing the CDs you send?
The CDs we send are high quality audio recordable CDs (CD-Rs). Although it is rare, please be aware that some old CD players, and/or low quality players don’t play CD-Rs properly. Please verify that your player is capable of properly playing CD-Rs before placing your order.
